U.S. aid to N. Korea ‘not enough’…huh?
I happened upon this article over at cnn.com. Essentially, the WFP (World Food Program) says that’s not enough aide to solve the hunger crisis in North Korea.
There’s actually a really sad picture of a young child at the top of the article, and it’s heart-wrenching. BUT…isn’t this something Kim Jong Il should be thinking about? Rather than positioning troops, and building nukes, wouldn’t it make sense to keep your PEOPLE alive?
I’m all for helping these poor people. But how about helping us out, in return?
Bruce Bochy Talks to Himself
You may have never noticed it (especially if you don’t watch the Padres), but Bruce Bochy talks to himself.
As I sit here, watching the Pawds duke it out with the hated L.A. Dodgers, they continue to show quick shots of Boche…and he’s always talking to himself.
Being a manager for a team that has a propensity to choke (like the Padres) is enough reason to speak to one’s self, I’d imagine.
The San Diego Moon
This picture, while rather crummy, is a shot from my Sidekick of the
moon overlooking San Diego this evening.
The fact that it shows up at all on this feeble camera is a testament to
its brightness…
Vintage Office Space
George got this for me…and it will forever have a place on my desk
(and in my heart, I suppose).
