Advertising through MySpace

P.S. If you are in the market to buy an investment outside of San Deigo, I have personally hand picked top agents in every major city and many surrounding areas all over the US. Please let me know and I will be happy tol refer you to one.

They were actually talking about something similar to this on TWiT, with people being paid to promote products within forums and chat rooms. I’d tend to agree with Dvorak’s perspective on this: we’re only going to see more of this because, after all, it’s a great idea.

  1. It’s similar to mass spam emails I guess. Advertisers will pay good money to get the word out any way possible.

It’s common sense to go from email, a venue that has been increasingly hard to get to because of spam blockers, to forums and blogs. There aren’t any easy solutions except manual removal and some programs, so the market is still generally open for advertisers to make money.

  2. How I wish I could be paid to be so clever and smart.
I am a senior member in some popular forums since February 2005 to date and the forums have been using hundreds of my posts to generate traffic for their forums and earned money from the adverts on the forums. So, websites with forums should start sharing their advert revenue with prolific posters. After all, TV and Radio stations pay royalties to participants and entertainers. Some posters in popular forums have been increasing the hits and visitors to the websites.

We pay to be online and what have we gained from populating forums with our engaging discussions?

MySpace makes a lot of money and what do the members gain in return for making MySpace so popular?
