So grateful for the internet and finding this post almost FIVE (5) years after your posting it!!!!! I was JUST getting ready to purchase this! Thank you! I’ve used Audacity and most CD’s now are being recorded with just “centered” vocals so it will NEVER remove the full vocal, but at least it was FREE! Thanks again

bought it online and paid $29.99 – its audacity…. what an idiot. Have emailed them and asked for a refund… will let you know how it goes. Whats more shocking is that my bank will not cancel the payment until i hear from them as they have apparently not done anything illegal… although nowhere in the process of purchasing does it tell you that you are really buying ‘Audacity’?

I ordered the make your own karaoke CD a month ago and still haven’t received it and can’t find a way to contact the company. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered it.

I had also purchased (Make Your Own Karaoke), I sing gospel music at my home church and i also have a music ministry and sing at nursing homes and when i was asked a week ago if i could sing do a song this past week i began looking to purchas the song , (That’s the kind of God) was the song but could not find it in karaoke or soundtrack but had found the song on video, I also had found the site on how to remove vocals instantly, down loaded the site and the video and followed there instruction on how to covert the audio to mp3 wav so this week i had experimenting with a lot of songs and found that this product is a scam.
I wish i had found this web page and checked out Make- Your Own Karaoke.co, more closely before i purchased it, $30 would had bought me 4 sound tracks

I was moments away from buying this software (Make Your Own Karaoke). With card in hand and the billing page of their website on my browser, I decided I’d better do a little research because it did seem a little unlikely that something so simple would work so miraculously. Thank you for this post! I already have audacity!!! I used the directions you posted and they’re insanely simple. Funny that it doesn’t work that well on most songs (but it has on some), and that would have not only been a wasted forty bucks for FREE software, but also for a process that only seems to really work about 20% of the time. Well, it works on more songs that that, but leaves odd noise on the track that makes it unusable. Anyway, THANKS! They almost got my money!
