High School:
Ramona High School

Undergraduate:
United States Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point)
BS, Engineering Management

Graduate:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
MS, Systems Management

I graduated from Ramona High in 1997, somewhere in the top 10%. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do in life, as usual, but I had a fondness for the military (thank JROTC for that). I applied to several schools, and ultimately decided to attend the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York.

During my tenure at the Academy, I visited the following countries:
Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Spain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Canada.

I graduated 5th in my class at the Academy (Magna-city), with a GPA somewhere just below 3.7, and a B.S. in Marine Engineering and Shipyard Management. Subsequently, I obtained my Coast Guard license for Third Assistant Engineer, and my commission as an Ensign in the US Navy Reserve.

As a combined result of some incredible contacts (Profs. Tuttle, Gardner, etc.), I was admitted (along with Parker) to the Ocean Engineering department at MIT, and was given - more or less - a full ride.

I had an absolute blast in Boston, and obtained my M.S. in Ocean Systems Management in just under a year while assisting with a sizeable research product for the US Navy..it was ultimately my thesis. :)

    Hi,

I met and then subsequently travelled with Tim and Eric around Europe for a little bit in 2002. We had an absolute blast. I still check up on his site to see how he is going. I would just like to say congratulations on the marriage and the baby girl.

I now live in Paris, don’t be a stranger if you are in the neighbourhood.

    All the best,

    Parry Williams (the Kiwi)

Who is this Parker guy you talk about? He sounds like a total stud. I bet he’s a sexy beast…

Wow, quite an adventure. Hope to catch up with you, if you want. Have not seen you since the spectacular display immaturity on my part at KY.

Correction on that last post: have not seen you since KP. Left in 1998.

I googled your name this afternoon, after so many years I found you. Timmy, the last time we saw eachother was when we parted in New York 5 years ago. So many things have happened in our lives since then amigo. We should cath up on old times and our lives. I married as well. 2 years ago, after I returned from the war. Wright to me buddy. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, this is “Harry”.
